Property/Casualty Program
|
"After having instructed our broker to go through Aon and the AAHSA Insurance Programs
for our recent property and liability insurance renewal, we secured a 13% decrease in
our premiums, reducing our annual costs by $13,440. I do not know of any other organization
that has received an actual decrease in their premiums this year. And the best part is
our savings are significantly more than our annual dues for AAHSA membership!" - Paul Hollings, insured

Savings
Facilities enrolling in our Property/Casualty program in 2006 have saved an average of 36%, or just over $79,000!

10% Premium Credit through the Aon Quality Institute! New Program Insureds can complete the web-based risk management course within 60 days of their coverage effective date and receive a 10% credit on their General Liability/Professional Liability (GL/PL) premium. Current insureds who complete the course will receive a 10% GL/PL premium credit at their next renewal.
Accelerated Dividend Component
The program paid out more than $200,000 in dividends based on the 1st evaluation of the 2008 Accident Year.
This is an exclusive benefit for members of the American Association of Homes & Services for the Aging (AAHSA)
that purchased the General Liability/Professional Liability product in the AAHSA Program.
(By law, dividends cannot be guaranteed and must be approved by CNA's board of directors.)
Now serving More Aging Service Providers
Eligibility now includes the entire continuum of aging service providers.
This is achieved by eliminating minimum premiums and expanding underwriting guidelines.
This means that, along with CCRC's and stand alone skilled and assisted living facilities,
we can now write Senior Housing and Home & Community Based Service Providers (HCBS).
HCBS includes Adult Day Care, Home Health Care, Meals Services and PACE Providers all
related to the aging services field.
Occurrence-based coverage option NOW AVAILABLE!
The General Liability & Professional Liability coverage form is automatically available on a
Claims-Made form. We've now added a NEW option for this coverage line on an
Occurrence form basis.
This NEW option is only available for not-for-profit aging services risks providing: skilled nursing
care, assisted living, independent living/senior housing or a combination (ie CCRCs)
that meet
specific guidelines.
